Why is my visibility low even though my website is cited a lot?
Being used as a source isn't the same as being recommended.

AI engines often read your pages for facts (definitions, how-tos, statistics) without recommending your brand. That shows up as many citations but few mentions.
What to do
- Check which pages are cited on Mentions. Educational blog posts are often cited; product and comparison pages are where recommendations come from.
- Make your brand part of the answer. On cited pages, explain clearly what you offer, who it's for and how you compare.
- Get mentioned elsewhere. AI recommendations rely heavily on third-party sources such as reviews, lists and communities. See which domains are cited for competitors and aim to appear there.
- Follow your suggestions, which are based on these gaps.
