Articles helps you write content designed to be cited in AI answers, from idea to published page. You stay in control at each step: title, outline, instructions and the final edit.
Why it matters
AI engines favour pages that answer a question clearly and completely, with structure they can quote, such as headings, lists and FAQs. Articles is built around the prompts you track, so what you publish targets the questions you want to be recommended for.
How it works
1. Start a new article
Click Create Article and choose how to start:
- Write topic manually: paste your research or describe the topic.
- Use existing prompt: pick one of your tracked prompts, and we write an article that answers it.
You can also turn on Brand fact-check with Knowledge Base to check brand facts against your Knowledge Base, and add reference URLs under Advanced mode.
You can also start from a suggestion with Create article from brief, or from a source on Mentions.
2. Add instructions
Set:
- Article length: Short (~500 words), Standard (~1,000), Long (~1,500), Comprehensive (~2,500) or a custom word count
- Article structure, such as a listicle, how-to guide or comparison
- Primary keyword and SEO keywords
- Target location
- Tone, for example witty or academic
- Specific instructions for this article
3. Pick a title
Choose one of the Recommended titles, click Regenerate titles, or Write your own title.
4. Shape the outline
Review the sections. Drag to reorder them, add or remove sections, and add a note to say what any section should cover.
5. Edit and publish
The article opens in the editor, where you can change anything. When it's ready:
- Publish to CMS: publish straight to your connected CMS (WordPress, Webflow, Sanity or Shopify), with or without the featured image.
- Export: download the article as HTML or Markdown to publish yourself.

Tips for better articles
- Add your product details to the Knowledge Base so articles describe your brand accurately.
- Answer the question early. Put a direct answer near the top, then expand on it.
- Review facts before publishing. You know your product best; check pricing, features and claims.
- Track the result. Add the published URL to URL Tracking to see when AI starts citing it.
