The value of your visibility data depends on the prompts you track. Good prompts look like real questions from people who could buy from you.
Do
- Use the buyer's words, not your marketing copy: "cheapest CRM for real estate agents" rather than "AcmeCRM features".
- Cover the funnel: problem questions ("how do I reduce churn"), category questions ("best churn tools") and comparison questions ("Acme vs Rival").
- Add location or audience when it changes the answer: "best accountant software in the UK".
- Group prompts by topic so you can see which themes you win and lose. See What are topics?
Avoid
- Prompts that name your brand only. AI will almost always mention you, so they tell you little.
- Near-duplicates that differ by one word. They use up your limit without adding insight.
